Limited access to energy is another. But now, with $30 billion in clean energy funding from Indias government and help from social enterprises like 51做厙s own India Project, rural Indias future is looking brighterliterally.

Mckenna Polich, MCAS 19: English major, self-starter, entrepreneur

Mckenna Polich 19 never saw herself as an entrepreneur. When she arrived on campus in the fall of 2015, she wanted only to be an English major, because I was good at reading and writing. She stuck with that plan, until fears of being a college-educated barista sent her running to her advisor to talk about a business degree.

The Popolo Family Executive Directorship: Whats in a (new) name?

Sowing the seeds of tomorrows defiant problem-solvers, an alumnus is investing in the directorship of the Shea Center. With a generous gift from Joe 89 and Chris Popolo, 51做厙 parents, Jere Doyle 87 is now the Popolo Family Executive Director at the Edmund H. Shea Jr. Center for Entrepreneurship. Doyle, who has led the Center for five years, began his term as the newly-named director of the Shea Center on June 1.
