Profile

Dr. Pavlovic is an Assistant Professor at the Connell School of Nursing. She received her doctorate at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and did her postdoctoral fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in cardiovascular disease epidemiology. Her program of research focuses on the physiologic mechanisms and prognostic implications of patient-reported general and exertional fatigue symptoms in individuals with, and at risk for, heart failure. The ultimate goal of her program of research is to alleviate the suffering associated with heart failure symptoms and improve patient outcomes through interdisciplinary translational science.

Dr. Pavlovic has many years of both inpatient and outpatient experience as a registered nurse caring for individuals with cardiovascular diseases, heart failure, and multiple chronic conditions. She is also active in professional organizations including the American Heart Association and the Heart Failure Society of America.
